The Stanford Institute for Neuro-Innovation and Translational Neurosciences Annual Neuroscience Research Conference was held November 8-10, 2009, at Pajaro Dunes along the Monterey Coast (www.pajarodunes.com).
The goals of the conference were to share exciting science, foster a sense of community and to promote interactions and collaboration among members of the neuroscience community at Stanford.
The conference started on Sunday, November 8 at 3:00 P.M. with keynote talks by Karl Deisseroth and Rusty Gage and ended on Tuesday, November 10 at noon. There were six sessions with 4-5 brief discussions (20 minutes) representing a large number of labs doing basic and/or clinical research. There were poster sessions following dinner. Prizes were awarded for best posters.
