Who: BIPOC Trainees (undergrads, post-bac, graduate students, postdocs)

Description: BELONG (BIPOC Emerging Leaders Of the Next Generation) is a community-driven association of Stanford neuroscience trainees. BELONG is focused on creating a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for individuals who specifically identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and/or People of Color (BIPOC) within our neuroscience community. Activities include luncheons, seminars, workshops, mentorship and a welcoming community.

Type: Research / Community Program
Description: The Neuroscience Undergraduate Research Opportunity (NeURO) fellowship program supports students without previous access to research and those from underrepresented groups in STEM who wish to participate in neuroscience research. This immersive program provides trainees with practical lab experience, specialized coursework and funding, and brings together a wonderful community of students and scientists interested in understanding the brain.
