Research topics: We aim to develop precision gene-editing technology with machine learning to study and treat neural-immune diseases, with particular interest in neuro-degeneration (AD/PD).
Techniques: CRISPR gene-editing, single-cell sequencing, machine learning (reinforcement learning), and we primarily use human patient data and related models.

Project information: We have several AD-focused projects, and there is possibility to explore more beyond what's described here. As example, we have two different projects ongoing, one is to use novel machine learning approach to optimize and develop precision gene-editing based on CRISPR technology as brain disease therapeutics, another is to use novel single-cell sequencing approach to understand dynamic genetic and cellular changes using patient data and human-relevant model of Neurodegeneration (AD/PD).
