Research topics: We design and build molecular circuits to engineer novel functions for human cells, both as tools for probing basic neurobiology and as potential therapies for neurological diseases.
Techniques: We combine experimental and computational approaches to engineer proteins, molecular circuits, and cultured human cells.
Seeking undergrads for: Academic year, Summer
Location: Flexible, with possibilities for remote or on-campus research projects
Required skills: Previous wet lab experience, Programming experience - Wet lab: molecular cloning or cell culture; dry lab: modeling dynamic systems or bioinformatics. Either wet- or dry-lab experience suffices, and we can cultivate the other.
