Research topics: We’re exploring advances in neuromodulation for mental health disorders and obesity, from mouse to human.
Techniques: We use optogenetics, fiber photometry, deep brain stimulation, electrophysiology and advanced imaging across species when possible
Seeking undergrads for: Academic year, Summer
Required skills: Previous wet lab experience, programming experience, computer science, eletrical engineering, image processing skills are ideal. If you have interests in more clinical research, fewer technical skills are required.
This lab is particularly interested in mentoring: Undergrads from backgrounds that are underrepresented in STEM, Undergrads without previous exposure to laboratory research
