Research topics: Our research seeks to advance our understanding of cerebrovascular disease and to develop new minimally invasive treatments for these diseases.
Techniques: We use state-of-the-art neuroimaging techniques to non-invasively study cerebrovascular diseases, and we are developing future endovascular technologies to advance neurointerventional surgery.

Project information: We are using a mouse ischemic stroke model to understand better how inflammation and collateral blood flow contribute and protect against brain injury, respectively. We are also using advanced imaging to understand how these processes affect human patients suffering from ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
