Research topics: We study vision loss due to hypoxic-ischemic insult to the brain, including the optic nerve and retina, in order to identify effective ways to restore vision.
Techniques: We study animal models of hypoxic-ischemic injury using high-resolution in vivo eye imaging, electrophysiology, and histology analysis.
