Research topics: The Educational Neuroscience Initiative brings together elementary school education and neuroscience research to understand how children’s brains change with learning.
Techniques: We use EEG and behavioral assessments to study reading and mathematical development in children.
Seeking undergrads for: Academic year, Summer
Location: Flexible, with possibilities for remote or on-campus research projects
Required skills: Coursework - Basic coursework in Neuroscience, Psychology, and/or Research Methods
This lab is particularly interested in mentoring: Undergrads from backgrounds that are underrepresented in STEM, Undergrads without previous exposure to laboratory research
