Research topics: We  study  brain mechanisms of visual processing in adults, typically and atypically developing children

Techniques: We use a combination of EEG, fMRI, psychophysics and computational modeling approaches.


Seeking undergrads for: Academic year, Summer

Location: Flexible, with possibilities for remote or on-campus research projects

Required skills: Programming experience, Coursework - Non-trivial experience programming in Matlab, Python or other high-level language. Course work including linear algebra.

This lab is particularly interested in mentoring: Undergrads from backgrounds that are underrepresented in STEM, Undergrads without previous exposure to laboratory research

Project information: EEG/fMRI studies of depth perception, EEG studies of vision in patients with eye problems, EEG studies related to reading,  studies of development of vision in infants and children, application of deep neural network models to brain data
