Research topics: To dissect the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying synapse formation, and their impairments in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders

Techniques: We study mice and stem cell-derived human neurons with an array of techniques ranging from protein chemistry and gene expression analyses to imaging, electrophysiology and mouse behavior

This lab is particularly interested in mentoring: Undergrads from backgrounds that are underrepresented in STEM, Undergrads who are interested in doing experiments

Project information: Depends on the interests of the undergraduates and on the projects performed by lab members at a given time. As the PI, I refer undergraduates interested in the lab to talk to lab members about their projects and the possibility of contributing to part of it.
