Research topics: Our lab’s mission is to both use neuroscience as a tool for improving education, and use education as a tool for furthering our understanding of the brain. We are searching for a research assistant to help with our longitudinal summer reading intervention project. This is a neuroimaging and behavioral heavy project that aims to look at how a child who is struggling with reading responds to an intense intervention. Most of your work will be spent interacting with families while you support us during their visits and helping with regular data maintenance. Depending on your personal interests, tasks outside of these to an extent can be tailored to things you’d like to learn.
Techniques: We use neuroimaging and behavioral assessments to explore reading development in children.
