I grew up in Williams Bay, WI and received my B.S. in engineering from Swarthmore College in 2018. I am currently a PhD student in the Materials Science and Engineering department. Before joining the group of Prof. Guosong Hong, I worked with a variety of materials by synthesizing polymers, fabricating nanocrystal transistors, and studying the interaction of carbon nanotubes with DNA in Prof. Kyle Wagner’s lab. My current research focus is to develop less invasive methods to obtain intracellular electrophysiological measurements in vivo.
