Have you heard of the Neuroscience Superfriends?
Well, come and join a new seminar series centered around the nemeses of the Superfriends... The Legion of Doom (a community of neuroscience postdocs)!!!Similar to the current Superfriends seminars, each Legion of Doom meeting will have a single postdoc from one of the many labs at the Stanford Neurosciences Institute giving an informal presentation to an audience largely composed of postdocs and grad students. Meetings will be held once a month and will focus on the research being conducted in the presenter's lab.
With so many labs spread out across campus (and off-campus), the goal of this group is to have an informal forum for postdocs to share their work with other scientists at similar stages in their careers in order to stimulate exciting discussions about neuroscience and to foster a sense of community between fellow colleagues. Come engage in lively discussions about the awesome work being done here at Stanford.
