Math, Monkeys, Machines A new seminar series on theoretical, computational, and systems neuroscience

Each seminar will feature three short presentations by postdocs and grad students from several groups including the Boahen, Moore, Shenoy, Newsome and Ganguli labs. These talks will therefore cover a broad range of topics in mathematical theory of the brain and mind, robotics, neuroengineering, and primate neurophysiology. With this series we aim to establish links across these domains and spark collaborations between the participants. The presentations will be accessible to anyone interested in computational neuroscience, and all are welcome to attend.

Subhaneil Lahiri, Ganguli Lab:  "Learning and memory with complex synapses" Samir Menon, Boahen Lab:  "Using robotics to understand human motor control" Vince McGinty, Newsome Lab: "Do you like what you see? The dynamics of gaze, choice, and neural coding of value"
