Stanford Medical Mixed Reality (SMMR) is excited to announce the next panel of our virtual panel discussion series about groundbreaking mixed reality technology and innovation in medicine and how it impacts patients, clinicians, and the healthcare industry.

You are invited to attend our panel on XR for Medical Simulation on Tuesday, December 7th. The panel discussion will be in person at the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute and streamed virtually via zoom from 9:00 – 10:15am followed by an in-person XR Open House from 10:15 - 12pm PT. The event will start with a one-hour panel discussion featuring Dr. Tom Caruso and Dr. Albert Tsai of the CHARIOT program at Stanford; Dr. David Gaba, associate dean for simulation-based learning and director of CISL at Stanford; Patrick Shironoshita, director of digital health solutions at Magic Leap; and Dr. Johanes Martin Ismawan, associate residency program director of the department of anesthesiology at Naval Medical Center San Diego.  This panel will be moderated by Dr. Christoph Leuze of the Stanford Medical Mixed Reality (SMMR) program. Following the panel discussion, you are also invited to a an in-person XR Open House at the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute. We will have demos by students in the Neurosciences Building Gunn Rotunda (room E241) and posters in the courtyard together with snacks and refreshments.
