Talia (‘29) is a prospective Bioengineering major with a strong interest in neuroscience and neurocritical care. Her passion for the brain is deeply personal, shaped by her brother’s experience with traumatic brain injury, which inspires her commitment to understanding recovery and disorders of consciousness. She conducts research in the Vision & Perception Neuroscience Lab at Stanford, where she works on psychophysics and behavioral studies. As a NeURO fellow, she contributes to a longitudinal study examining how visual experience shapes neural development in children using behavioral assessments, eye-tracking, and MRI. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading research and literature, shopping, and spending time with her family.
