Jian Xiong is a postdoctoral scholar in Monther Abu-Remaileh’s lab at Stanford University, where he focuses on the biophysics, biochemistry, cell biology, and physiology of lysosomes. His research aims to elucidate how lysosomal dysfunction contributes to various neurological disorders and to identify potential therapeutic strategies for reversal. Jian has a strong background in studying the regulation of lysosomal function through ion channels and metabolites, having previously conducted research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Outside of his academic pursuits, Jian enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
