Kevin Feigelis

Originally from New Jersey, Kevin hold a B.S. in Physics from Rutgers University, and is currently a PhD candidate in the Stanford University Physics department. During his quest to uncover the fundamental principles which govern our Universe, he became interested in how these same mathematical tools could be applied to elucidate the nature of human-level intelligence.

Darian Hadjiabadi

The oppressive Florida sun which Darian grew up under swiftly drove him to pursue undergraduate studies in the arctic tundra. At Johns Hopkins University, Darian majored in computer science and biomedical engineering, where he additionally performed research with Dr. Michael I. Miller's computational neuroanatomy group. During this period, Darian was inspired to learn more about the brain and how it functions in both health and disease. To that effect, Darian joined the functional brain imaging lab of Dr. Arvind P. Pathak at Johns Hopkins.

Yi Liu

Yi is a Ph.D. candidate in Ada Poon’s group in the Department of Electrical Engineering. She is currently studying the mechanisms of extracellular electrical stimulation and analyzing the effects of different current waveforms applied at the electrode. In the future, she plans to electrically stimulate the mouse hippocampus for memory recovery as a potential treatment for early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Before joining Stanford, Yi received her B.S. degree in physics at Peking University in China.

Brandon Jay Bhasin

I am a PhD student in the department of Bioengineering, co-advised by Jennifer Raymond (Stanford Neurobiology) and Mark Goldman (UC Davis Neuroscience). I am interested in the principles by which learning and memory operate, and in my research I am studying mathematical models of learning in the control of eye movement reflexes, which are mediated by neural circuits in the cerebellum.
