Event Details:
Each seminar will feature three short presentations by postdocs and grad students from several groups including the Boahen, Moore, Shenoy, Newsome and Ganguli labs. These talks will therefore cover a broad range of topics in mathematical theory of the brain and mind, robotics, neuroengineering, and primate neurophysiology. With this series we aim to establish links across these domains and spark collaborations between the participants. The presentations will be accessible to anyone interested in computational neuroscience, and all are welcome to attend.
Presentation Program for Sept. 30, 2014
Peiran Gao, Ganguli Lab: "A theory of multi-neuronal dimensionality, measurement and dynamics" Becca Krock, Moore Lab: "Saccadic suppression of visual sensitivity in frontal eye field neurons" Jonathan Kao, Shenoy Lab: "Do neural dynamics matter? A brain-machine interface perspective."
REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED !!
