Microglia Group meeting - Sarah Barnes and Kendra Lechtenberg
Sarah Barnes (Engleman lab) will be presenting Asya Rolls’ recent Nature Neuroscience paper which utilizes mass cytometry to characterize the brain’s immune cells. Asya recently spoke here at Stanford and is conducting very interesting research. You can find the paper here.
Kendra Lechtenberg (Buckwalter lab) will be presenting a Nature paper from Frederic Geissmann’s lab which links a somatic mutation in microglia precursors to late-onset neurodegeneration. This is a significant publication in the microglia field and I encourage everyone to check it out. That paper can be found here.
Note: The talk is for Stanford students, trainees and staff only. Please RSVP here if you plan to attend.
