Are you a Stanford undergraduate eager to explore neuroscience research and considering applying for the Neuroscience Undergraduate Research Opportunity (NeURO) Fellowship? Join us for an informative Q&A session to get all your questions answered about the NeURO program and the application process!

About the NeURO Fellowship: The NeURO fellowship invites Stanford undergraduates to delve into the interdisciplinary field of neuroscience. Aimed at students with little to no prior research experience, the program supports fellows as they join research labs, participate in professional development workshops, and build a vibrant community of peers and mentors.

Program Structure:

  • Spring Quarter: 10 weeks of part-time mentorship (8-10 hours/week) in your selected research lab.
  • Summer Quarter: 8 weeks of full-time research (40 hours/week), complete with professional development workshops.
  • End-of-Program Poster Session: Present your research accomplishments.

Why Attend the Q&A Session?:

  • Learn about the NeURO program and application process directly from the coordinator.
  • Ask your questions live and get clear answers.

Contact Information: For more information or specific inquiries about the NeURO program, please contact Valerie Vargas-Zapata, Community Engagement Program Coordinator, at vvargasz@stanford.edu.
