Event Details:
All first-year PhD students who are interested in learning about how they might apply their technical skills to improving human health and advancing neuroscience discovery are invited to come to an informational event about the new NeuroTech graduate training program and funding opportunity: December 13, from 3:30 – 4pm in Clark Center, S363.
Students without prior neuroscience or laboratory training are encouraged to apply to the program, as are women and any students from backgrounds typically underrepresented in the neurosciences.
At the information session, we will also share information about a new course being held this winter quarter — Experimental Immersion in Neuroscience (NSUR249): an opportunity for interested students to visit neurotech labs to experience the techniques being used and learn about the questions being addressed. This course is strongly encouraged for potential NeuroTech applicants. Interested students should RSVP for the information session or to join the mailing list for updates.
