Georges is now a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Chichilnisky's lab in the Department of Neurosurgery, where he develops new recording systems and computational frameworks for understanding how the primate visual system processes visual information.

Georges holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from École Centrale Paris, France with a focus on Applied Mathematics, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. During his Ph.D., Georges worked under Prof. Palanker on the development of a retinal prosthesis for sight restoration in blind people, which is being commercialized by Pixium Vision (Paris, France). Georges is now a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Chichilnisky's lab in the Department of Neurosurgery, where he develops new recording systems and computational frameworks for understanding how the primate visual system processes visual information.
