2021 NeURO Trainee
Department of Human Biology

I am currently interested in studying human biology or biology. However, I definitely am eager to explore other fields that Stanford has to offer including their classes in creative writing, modern languages, and public policy. I first got interested in neuroscience in my high school anatomy and physiology class. Even though we only covered the basics of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, I learned to appreciate the complexities of the brain. I have a passion for learning more about my home culture: I am involved in Stanford's Pilipinx-American Student Union (PASU) and in Stanford Kayumanggi, the campus's Pilipinx arts organization. I am interested in learning more about Pilipinx issues through their seminars and directed reading classes, and I also plan to attend an Alternative Spring Break program (ASB) centering on these issues in the spring. I love going on hikes, playing piano, hanging out with my dog, and watching bad Netflix movies with my friends.
