Malaika Naseer
Malaika Naseer (‘28) is a prospective Biomedical Computation major with a minor in Human Biology. Her interests in neuroscience focus on understanding neurodegenerative diseases and leveraging AI-driven computational approaches to predict disease progression and improve patient outcomes in neurosurgery.
She joined the institute as a Summer 2026 NeURO Fellow, where she is conducting research on GD2-targeted CAR T-cell therapy for diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) in Dr. Michelle Monje’s lab.
Beyond her academic work, Malaika volunteers at Cardinal Free Clinics and is part of the Global Empowerment Team at the Mission:Brain Foundation. In her free time, she enjoys journaling and exploring new cuisines in the Bay.
