Nimrod Rappoport

Nimrod is a postdoctoral fellow working with Professor Anne Brunet in the Department of Genetics. Nimrod received his BSc and PhD in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, working under the supervision of Prof. Ron Shamir and Prof. Amos Tanay from the Weizmann Institute of Science. During his PhD, Nimrod developed algorithms to analyze and integrate diverse types of biological data. In his postdoctoral work, Nimrod is using genetic perturbations and computational methods to discover genes with a causal role in brain aging that could be targeted to increase brain resilience.
