Zulema Garibo is the Training and Fellowships Program Coordinator at the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute, where she manages comprehensive training programs for students at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from San Jose State University and completed her Master’s degree in Teaching at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2023. Since joining Stanford in 2019, Zulema has been responsible in administering educational opportunities and events, including the organization of annual symposia and seminar series for the institute's Center for Mind, Brain, Computation and Technology, as well as managing program application cycles and review committees for highly competitive fellowships, like the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute Postdoctoral Scholars Award. Her responsibilities extend beyond administrative oversight to include strategic program development and management aimed at enhancing the educational experiences and outcomes for all participants, all while continuously contributing to the Institute's mission of advancing neuroscience through interdisciplinary research, education, and community.
