Imaging neural ensembles in mice during learning

Takaki Komiyama, PhD Assistant Professor, Neurobiology Section and Department of Neurosciences, UCSD

Host: Michael Lin

Abstract

Experience-dependent modification of neural circuits forms the basis for the flexibility of behavior. We use imaging techniques in mice to visualize functional and structural changes in the brain during various learning paradigms. I will present some of our latest findings on motor learning and visual association learning.
