Anna is pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on neuroscience. Her overall goal is to improve healthcare options through engineering and computation. Before attending Stanford, she earned a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.Sc. in Applied Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Some of her previous research includes developing a microwave antenna for small tumor ablation in the digestive system and studying the electromagnetic response of the human skin in the sub-THz frequency range. She also has six years of experience working in the industry as a software engineer, and she enjoys baking, playing tennis, and traveling.
