Where the rubber meets the road: Computational models and empirical evidence
The Center for Mind, Brain, Computation and Technology's 12th annual symposium brings speakers from across the world to share their research.
Computational models play an increasingly important role in neuroscience, highlighting the question of how they make contact with empirical evidence. How do other constraints such biological plausibility or theoretical optimality shape the modeling process? And ultimately, how are computational models made responsible to what we can measure in the brain?
