Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) have become a popular tool in neuroscience, especially when paired with other powerful techniques such as linear dynamical systems (LDS) models and generalized linear models (GLMs). In this session, two approaches (HMM-GLM and HMM-LDS) will be explained, compared and contrasted.
